We are in full kindergarten ready mode. Last week was Thomas’s last summer camp and this weekend was back to school shopping and kindergarten preparedness. Crazy. It is hard to believe our little guy is already heading towards elementary school.
The camp superstars. The teams that won the week long world cup tourney. Thomas was also awarded “Best Pupil” by coach Sam for being the best learner, worker, and helper for the entire week. I think he might have been a little biased with Thomas showing up in full Liverpool kits almost every day.
After a long gloomy day I quickly threw together Coq Au Vin (a simple version) and Matt and I snuggled up on the couch with some red wine and the summer finale of Suits.
The rest of the weekend was spent shopping for a backpack, lunch box, school & craft supplies, and various little goodies. We spent about 1.5 hours in Barnes and Noble ( a standard for this family). We picked up a couple of very cool books that I will share with you later.
Now we are counting down the days until it’s time for Kindergarten. Eek!
