Vendor Love {Ivory Sparrow}

A couple months ago I was contacted by Elizabeth from Ivory Sparrow. Although we didn’t know each other well, we attended high school together years ago. She mentioned that she had found Could Be Interesting and through reading saw that I am getting married. She generously offered to send me a personalized wrap and pair of sandals from her new company. After checking out their website and was happy to accept.

Ivory Sparrow is a collection of bridal and bridesmaid wraps, robes, sandals, and totes. With an several options in each these items are perfect for anyone getting married. Made with the most luxurious fabrics these wraps truly are as wonderful as they look. Hop on over to see all the the beautiful products the offer, Ivory Sparrow.

They recently put together a beautiful garden party with all of their goodies on display. I just had to share

Wedded Wednesday {Our Wedding Website Update}

I have been lagging on getting together our wedding website and last week I decided to take some time to update. It is still a work in progress (can you tell I am acting a bit OCD) but so far I am pretty excited about it.

Here are a few page images

Wedded Wednesday: Sweet Words

This drink menu is so darn fabulous.

This incredible wedding photographed by the AMAZING Jose Villa is beyond words. From the florals to the wooden chairs everything is just perfection. I am just plain obsessed with those gorgeous wooden Mrs. & Mr. signs. Read on for the breathtaking photos.

Weekend Warmup

Hey hey hey! I feel like it has been a while since I got all excited about the weekend. SO here  I am, warming up for what should be a pretty stellar weekend.

For starters I get to see my amazing sister

This is a picture from our boat ride in Portovenre, Italy. Which I haven’t seen since I was there because JUST this week I finally got out the camera I took. Which had died on the trip home and I never charged. Oops! But doesn’t she look smashing? I think so.

Okay, the story goes on. The reason she is making the drive up is for our trip to LA tomorrow to pick out fabric for my bridesmaid’s dresses? The wonderful Jessi from Jessica Murray Designs is designing and sewing each of the dresses. AMAZING yes? You don’t even know. She is incredibly talented and her drawings have me feeling a bit jealous that I don’t get to be a bridesmaid. So here is a sneak peek at what she has designed. . .

I am really excited to see what the the LA Fabric District is like. And especially dive into all the beautiful colors and fabrics.

My color inspiration board.

I also get to attend the awesome girls night out of Lauren over at A Fabulous Fete! She has an awesome DIY post today. Check it out here

and finally THIS

Amazing it shall be.

Happy Weekend!

Wedded Wednesday – Napa Vineyard Beauty

I am completely enthralled with this gorgeous Napa wedding. The invites by Rifle Paper Co., the isle runners complete with ribbons and florals, the rustic tables and chairs, the vibrant flowers, and most of all that beautiful bride. This tuscan themed wedding is just perfection. And the bride’s notes are just too sweet. I literally wish I was friends with her. Check out these lovely photos by Leah McCormick.

Are you as inspired and in love as I am? I bet you are :) Happy love! (via)

Wedded Wednesday: The Appy Couple

Have you heard of The Appy Couple? I stumbled upon the beta app a couple of months ago and immediately put in a request to get the app once it was released. Though it is still in it’s newer stage and working out some kinks the overall idea of the app is fabulous.

The Appy Couple gives you the ability to create, design, and share your own site/app with your wedding party and guests. Including the details of the event; ceremony, reception, bridal party, groomsmen, registry, your story, and tons more details. You can then upload a guest list and email out a link to the app. That way all of your wedding attendees can keep up to date on the wedding activities and more. Pretty amazing right?

I spent a couple days messing around with it and so far I am impressed. Here are a couple previews of what I have put together so far…

The first picture is a preview of one of the pages on our website and the second is a preview of the app.  Once you have set up your own site you can share it with all of the guests you choose. You have your own login code so the site can be as private as you want.

I will share more about our experience and more about our wedding site as soon as I can add more information and all that.

But if you are a bride and looking for a unique way to keep your guests in the loop check out

Spotted on Snippet & Ink this wedding is blissfully cheerful and bright. The bridesmaids are in fabulous striped dresses, the brides bouquet is perfect, and the love is as clear as day.

Saja Wedding Gowns

While checking out bridesmaid dresses at Bella Bridesmaid in Corona De Mar this past weekend I spotted a Wedding Gown line called Saja. Each of my bridesmaids and I all looked through the smaller collection offered and gushed about how beautiful each of the dresses were. Flowy, elegant, and delicate would be the best words to describe the collection. Here are a few pieces I am daydreaming about. . .

I am so impressed with the small but gorgeous details presented in each gown. I normally don’t like any wedding gown that is beaded or has sparkle, but this is the first time I have found something I can more than tolerate. Yoo Lee the founder has done an incredible job designing these beautiful pieces. I would love to find a reason to wear a Saja gown. Maybe for the reception?

And now the Bridesmaid Collection, which is equally stunning~

In an array of beautiful colors and styles, the bridesmaids dresses match the ethereal elegance of the wedding gowns. A perfect addition to any soiree.

To find out more about the collection and the company please check out Saja Wedding

The Alder Designs Etsy shop is live. After a big week, we are so glad that we hit our goal and set everything up. We will be adding new items daily, but for now we are pretty excited about what we have going on. A lot of it was inspired by Valentine’s Day so we put together a little dessert table inspiration. Major thanks to Ali Winston Photography & Jessica Murray Designs for all their help. They are seriously AMAZING!

Anyways, here is a couple photos of the shoot with our etsy products:

Ooooh so fun. We had the best time putting together all of the treats & and goodies. Pink, glitter, & sparkle… everything nice.

Dig it? We really hope so! Make sure to check it out and grab some last minute Valentine’s Day goodies!

Weekend Warmup

PHEW. What a week. It flew by. BUT it was a huge week. Met great people,  connected with some awesome bloggers, did a wonderful valentines shoot, and prepared to launch our etsy shop. Pretty sweet, right?

Here are some fun personal shots of the shoot yesterday with Ali from Ali Winston Photography & Jessi from Jessica Murray Designs.

So much sparkle it makes me smile.

I have also found my new favorite festive nail color.

Essie’s Watermelon is the perfect color for V-Day. A seriously bright pink. I love it.

I cannot explain how much I love this collage of photos. It is a simple but wonderful way to document your little one joining the world. Something to keep in mind for our next one. {source}

The perfect wedding table inspiration.

This is beyond perfect. A must send to the wedding planner!

Have a lovely weekend and stay tuned for the launch of Alder Designs Etsy shop later today (hopefully)!

Happppppy Weekend!
