The view from my living room was spectacular on Friday while doing some last minute work before the long weekend.

My wheels for the weekend. Our 1985 Volkswagon Westfalia accompanied us to the dessert to meet up with some family.

After hours of playing with his cousins Thomas needed a good nap. I must admit I did too. We cuddled up for an hour or so in the van. It was so nice and quiet.

Lastly a nice late afternoon drive down the coast was the perfect end to a wonderful weekend.

A Weekender

A whole weekend inspired by a bag? Yes. Not only is this weekender totally and completely AMAZING but I have created an entire weekend trip out of it. How cool would it be to pack up and drive off and sit on the lakefront with wine, food, & people you love. Ah it would be perfection.

In just over two weeks I will be heading to Marseilles to take off on a sisters adventure in Florence. We just added a new stopping point, which I am totally thrilled about! After four days in Florence we will hope over to Riomaggiore in Cinque Terre. Look how beautiful it is…
