Ahoy Mates

we finally made a decision on Thomas’ birthday party invites and I am so happy with the result. After hours of working on making it by hand I felt a little overwhelmed and decided to outsource the job. I went over to TinyPrints and instantly fell in love with this invite

And to make it even more fun I asked Matt to design a little treasure map with directions to the party.

* I blurred out the streets for privacy

With those out in the mail I feel so ready to get really into party planning.

I have already picked up a couple packs of these . . .

From {MeriMeri} for $11.95

& a couple of these to for the kids to play on . . .

From {blowout party} for $29.99

Stay tuned . . .

Boys Pirate Party Inspiration

I have party on the brain. No seriously. I am planning my little boy’s 4 brithday party this July (insert gasp), our engagement party in August, my dads big 6-0 this October which lands on the same day as my big 2-5 and then of course our wedding. So needless to say I am constantly trying to think of fun ideas for each thing.

This is a great inspiration for a little boys party. Williams Sonoma had little party packs last year that were pirate themed and they made me want to throw a party just so I could use them. Unfortunately, I didn’t find them until after Tom’s birthday. So now might be my chance…

So fun!!! Via this site
