When I think of fall the first thing to come to mind is home cooked meals. Cooking in the fall is one of my favorite things. With the changing of the season I find you can draw inspiration for meals from everything. Every year around the start of October I dig out the old crock pot and start throwing together one pot meals. Stews are a big hit in this family so reinventing recipes is always a blast. insert Jennifer Joyce over Meals In Heels and her twist on the stew, with her own Beef, Guinness, and Mushroom Pies.

Fall Colors
On Friday we had the chance to relish in the after summer calm and start of fall weather with The Smith Family. After some delicious cheese, olives, wine, and great conversation we headed home. On the way home I was realized how much I enjoy this time of year and the moods of each day. So I took a visit to Design Seeds to get some inspiration.
