Valentine’s Craft Party from Camille Styles on Vimeo.
We usually have a little get together each year to make cards, and this is pushing us to squeeze it in this weekend if we can! We have tons of inspiration and ideas, so we should have no problem getting it together.
We also have a fun tutorial coming up for kids Valentine’s for school!
Here is the cute DIY from Camille’s party for the Granola Favor bags! Enjoy!

Craft Paper Bags
![]()
- 3 1/2 x 6 3/4-inch brown paper bags
- small hole punch
- red and white kitchen twin
- Download template
- Format printer to print onto dimensions of brown paper bags, and print directly into bags.
- Fill with granola (see recipe below) and fold top of bag over about 1-inch. Punch two holes through the fold, and secure with kitchen twine.
Camille’s Granola
- 1 stick unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 3 3/4 cups rolled oats (12 ounces)
- 3 ounces finely grated unsweetened coconut (1 cup)
- 6 ounces shelled raw pistachios (1 cup)
- 6 ounces slivered almonds (1 cup)
- 1 cup fresh orange juice
- 5 ounces dried apricots (1 cup)
- 3 ounces golden raisins (1/2 cup)
- 3 ounces chopped dried apple slices (1/2 cup)
- Preheat the oven to 275°. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. In a medium saucepan, combine the butter, brown sugar, honey, cinnamon, vanilla and salt and bring to a simmer, stirring until the brown sugar is dissolved, about 2 minutes. Let cool slightly.
- In a very large bowl, toss the oats with the coconut, pistachios and almonds. Add the warm brown sugar mixture and stir to coat thoroughly. Spread the granola on the baking sheet and bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes, stirring once or twice, until golden.
- Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, pour the orange juice over the dried fruit and let stand until plumped, about 1 hour.
- Drain the dried fruit, pressing to extract the liquid; discard the liquid. Stir the fruit into the granola and bake for 5 minutes. Let cool completely; the granola will crisp as it cools.

Found your blog from the Alt class list from yesterday. Was so excited when you said you are an OC blogger–I’m from Laguna Niguel. Right now I’m living in Utah, but my husband and I are hoping to move back to California one of these days.
I also LOVE Camille Styles. This is such a cute idea–especially because I start to die from sugar overload around Valentine’s Day.

That class was amazing! I am so excited to check out everyone’s amazing blogs & social media fun.
I am with you on the sugar overload. I don’t even like sweets that much so a healthy and yummy alternative is genius!!!
I hope you move back to OC! We could put together a fun workshop!!!
Thanks for stopping by!
