DIY Valentines Tic Tac Toe

It’s time for school valentines again. Which means kids are going to be heading home with candy. But let’s face it there are only so many ounces of candy you want around the house. So we strayed from the treat route this year and made a fun game for the kids.

Steps:

1. Draw a Tic Tac Toe board on your piece of red felt. I kept a 1 inch border on the sides.

2. Trace one sheet of white felt filled with X’s and one sheet of pink felt with O’s and cut them out.

3. Cut 10 tiny squares from the velcro and attach to the back of each X & O

4. Line up the letters on the side of the board, fold it up, and tie it with a bow

So there it goes, an simple valentines that is sugar free and is fun for the family.

Thomas and I gave it a go and he actually kicked my butt. No joke, I have realized he might be the youngest tic tac toe genius.

“Hello!
I’m a lover of brown paper packages tied up with string. With pops of color. This shop is a collection of a few of my favorite things – items that I use for wrapping gifts or crafting – like glassine bags, colorful shipping tags, classic twines and ribbon.
I’m having the most fun curating inspired kits of coordinating wrapping supplies and accessories – so that you can enjoy crafting and wrapping with a lovely collection of bits and pieces to play with!
I have big plans for so much more, and am excited to share with you. Please convo me or send a note to knotandbow [at] gmail [dot] com to receive my monthly newsletter, which contains new product information and fun ideas!
If you see something you like, but would like a larger quantity, please feel free to convo me. I’m always happy to make up custom orders.
Have fun looking around!
